Pizza parlor robbed

An outlet of a pizza parlor was robbed by a lone armed man in barangay San Antonio, Cebu City past midnight yesterday.

Police said at least P22,000 cash was taken from Alberto’s Pizza on P. del Rosario Street.

The robber also took the cash and personal belongings of the pizza parlor’s workers.

Police said a man arrived in the parlor at 12:15 a.m. and suddenly poked a gun at delivery boy Renato Esmol, 28.

The robber took Esmol’s belt bag containing P280 cash then went to cashier Gena Inojada, 32, and divested the store’s proceeds amounting to P22, 831.

The robber also took Inojada’s personal money worth P1,500, cellphone worth P2,800 and a tablet computer valued at P3,800.

The robber also took the store’s five cellular phones worth P10,000. The robber fled on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice, who waited outside the store.
