Sophia's Breads & Pastries

Neil Gandionco (2nd from right) and family opened their first chic outlet in Cebu located at National Highway, Minglanilla. Store grand opening was last October 18.

PRETTY in Pink, the Sophia’s Bread & Pastries dress-up its store in a striking feminine color obviously to attract the young market. “We want to create a new segment for the young” Operations Manager Charma Anoba said during the recent launching of Sophia’s in Minglanilla Cebu.

The interiors are fun with visuals showing the good life of the young. Photo images of the children of Niel Gandionko, owner of Sophia’s, reflect the vibrant ambiance. In like manner, the baked products and other food delights are created to make an impression to the young market.

Offerings include icee curl, spaghetti, siopao, waffle, ‘kakanin’, fried products and of course the bread and pastries. But among the array of food, the fried choco is the signature product and a bestseller at that.

Niel Gandionko created Sophia’s Bread & Pastries in 2013 and has already sprouted all over Leyte, Samar, Cagayan and Misamis Occidental. The Minglanilla branch is the first in Cebu and they have plans of aggressively penetrating other key towns and municipalities of Cebu.
Charma Anoba, further added that Sophia, the only daughter of Gandionko is the inspiration behind the brand image of the bakeshop. The other son Mark Anthony Gandionko who shares a passion for baked products with his father is currently the head of Research and Development of Sophia’s.

The newest branch of Sophia’s Bread & Pastries is located at National Hi-way Poblacion Minglanilla Cebu. You may like them on Facebook/Sophia’sBread &Pastries.
