MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — This early, the local government of Sta Fe in Bantayan Island has already started its preparations for the arrival of tourists who wanted to enjoy its white sand beaches and bask in the sun this Holy Week.
On Saturday, March 25, the municipal government organized a cleanup to rid its coastal areas of garbage.
Cleanup, appeal to tourists
The cleanup was participated by town employees and personnel of national line agencies.
And while they prepare to welcome guest, municipal officials are appealing to those who are coming for the Holy Week to also do their share in the preservation of the town’s beaches and marine resources.
