You can now take a selfie with Pope Francis after a huge postcard was made for him and has been included in the Sinulog Carousel.

The giant postcard that measures 12 by 24 feet is located along Osmeña Boulevard. It has a dedication to the Pope which states, “Daghang Salamat sa pag bisita sa Pilipinas. Cebu loves you.”

Beside the huge postcard is a life-sized standee of Pope Francis where selfie photos can be taken.

Edward Hayco, chairman of Cebu City Sports Commission (CCSC) said that they have included Pope Francis on the Sinulog Carousel 2015 as a way of showing the love of Cebuanos to the pope.

“He may not be able to visit Cebu next week but this postcard reminds that Pope Francis will always be in the hearts of Cebuanos,” he said.

As the Sinulog 2015 kicked off started yesterday, CCSC also announced that Cebu City will vie for the Guinness World Record  for the “Most Number of Giant Post Cards”. A total of 15 such postcards would be put up along Jones Ave.  Each postcard  shows the different tourist spots in Cebu.
