IT’S that time of the year! Drum beats, street parties, face paint, and good vibes – SINULOG is here again. Festival fever was in the air as Islands Souvenirs brought the house down on SM Northwing with the grand Cut and Style 2015 Fashion Show.
Now on its second year, Cut and Style is the brand’s biggest Sinulog campaign featuring hundreds of never-seen before special edition Sinulog shirt designs that can be personalized and customized according to each person’s particular style. Cut and Style lets customers create their very own Sinulog shirt – paint it, embellish it, tear it, wear any way you like.
This year’s Cut and Style 2015’s creative concept features the iconic “Dreamcatcher”. ‘Cut and Style 2015’ Fashion Show
The brand’s bestselling Sinulog shirts, apparel and accessories were thrust into the spotlight in a grand and festive fashion show that took up the entire Northwing of SM City Cebu. Cebu’s personalities and social influencers took to the catwalk to showcase this year’s Sinulog designs in different cut and style designs. The show was divided into different segments that featured different colors, styles and looks. This year’s Brand Ambassadors Top Celebrity Stylist Liz Uy and sister, Fashion Blogger Laureen Uy took the stage by storm together with Miss Cebu 2015 and her court.
The first segment entitled She Dreams pays tribute to the fabulous females with creative and unique Cut and Design styles and embellishments.
Islands Souvenirs Sinulog shirts were injected with unique aztec designs and embellishments and showcased by some of Cebu’s top models in the Aztec Allure segment. Cut and Style just became even more fun and playful as the cutest kids and their mothers took to the stage in mini versions of the Sinulog shirts in The Kids are Alright segment.
The next segment had the girls squealing as some of Cebu’s dashing young men took to the stage in the About the Boys segment. The Fashion Show’s much-awaited portion was the Dreamcatcher World by Cary Santiago featuring the Master Couturiers original creations just for Cut and Style 2015.
The Cut and Style masterpieces showed Santiago’s unique lasercut design. Cut and Style just went couture with a little attitude and a whole lot of flair.
