Dorothy Perkins, one of the biggest fashion retailers in United Kingdom, opened its first store in Cebu recently. Located at the first level of Paseo Ciudad in Ayala Center Cebu, the launch was a fun afternoon filled with treats and surprises as stylish ladies welcomed the much-awaited high street fashion house.
Hosted by Blinky de Leon, the event was graced by Cebu’s distinguished personalities while top executive of Robinsons Specialty Retailers Inc. (RSSI) led by General Manager Mina Quizon and Group Brand Manager Sharon Ugot flew in for the occasion.
“Dorothy Perkins has been around for a decade. We’ve been providing women with the latest fashion that fits perfectly to their character, embracing all styles and sizes. And what a good way to celebrate our 10th year than opening our first store in Cebu.” shared Ms. Quizon.
Established in 1909, Dorothy Perkins is one of the premier and trusted clothing brands for ladies with items that perfectly fit any body size with sizes that include sizes six to 12 plus a petite collection as well. For more than a century, it has continued to grow and keep up with women’s constantly evolving fashion tastes.
With the latest autumn/winter collection called Winter Opulence and Beyond the Pines on display, guests shopped their way to exciting freebies and discounts as DJ Veronica set the mood with fresh tunes. Throughout the afternoon, a question-and-answer segment was held, where P2,000 worth of gift certificates were given to winners. The ‘Want It, Win It’ Instagram competition was also announced where guests got a chance to take home their Dorothy Perkins outfit of choice by posting the particular ensemble worn by one of the mannequins inside the store.
Currently, Dorothy Perkins’ product lines include dresses, jersey tops, knitwear, coats, tailoring, denim shoes and accessories. Most of its trousers have short, regular and long leg selection.
