Davao Occidental rocked by magnitude 6.6 earthquake
A magnitude 6.6 earthquake shook Davao Occidental on Tuesday morning, September 26, 2023.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tectonic quake hit Balut Island in the municipality of Sarangani at 9:39 a.m.
Phivolcs said the temblor occurred at a depth of 122 kilometers.
Phivolcs also said aftershocks maybe expected.
