Tanqueray opened its first bar in the Queen City of the South last September 16, 2023, with a celebration that exquisitely captured the true spirit of Tanqueray and the essence of living life magnificently.

Guests were in for an exciting and immersive experience, from start to finish. Bringing back the Copa Glass painting workshop featured from the last Tanqueray Terrace in Manila, though this time, it’s in collaboration with Cebuano mural artist and visual designer, Hannah Soi.

On top of that, guests also designed their drinks with fresh botanicals, flowers, and spices, with 2019 Diageo World-Class ambassador, David Abalayan. This ‘Taste The Art’ workshop showcased the creativity of guests through their own version of a Tanqueray & Tonic.

And speaking of which, this celebration won’t be complete without a Tanqueray & Tonic. Together with the bartenders of 1521, David Abalayan, crafted a special T&T serve called Mactan Harvest inspired by well-known flavors from Cebu which guests at the event had the privilege of enjoying first. There certainly is no better way to introduce Tanqueray to the city of Cebu than with a Tanqueray & Tonic inspired by its magnificence and extraordinary flavors.
