Meanwhile, Quiblat said the weather in Metro Cebu on Sunday and Monday would be fair which means that the public could experience sunny weather in the morning with chances of rain in the afternoon.

“Dunay posibilidad nga kusog ang mga pag-ulan during severe thunderstorms kay kung dunay mga pag-ulan is [due to] localized thunderstorms kay wala pa ta’y [weather] system nga naka apekto diri sa Visayas nga dako nga weather system,” Quiblat said.

Moreover, the southwest monsoon (locally known as Habagat) is affecting the central and northern part of Luzon.

(We will be expecting cloudy weather condition in Metro Cebu and there will be scattered rains due to the extension of the low pressure area that will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.)

And on Thursday, October 12, Pagasa-Mactan is seeing an improvement on the weather condition.

“Ang Cebu, kay kaning low-pressure area, wala nato gi-anticipate or expected nga mahimong bagyo, so mo-maayo na sad ang panahon sa Thursday after sa Tuesday ug Wednesday,” he said.

(In Cebu, because of the low pressure area, that we do not anticipate or expect to become a storm, so our weather condition will also improve on Thursday after Tuesday or Wednesday.)
