Catherine Camilon, Miss Grand Philippines candidate, reported missing

Catherine Camilon, a candidate of the Miss Grand Philippines 2023, has been reported as a missing person, according to her mother and sister.
In a Facebook post, Camilon’s sister, Chin-Chin, said the 26-year-old beauty queen was last contacted at around 8 p.m. of Oct. 12 and her phone had been turned off since then.
Camilon represented Tuy, Batangas at the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 pageant in July, which was won by Cagayan de Oro’s Nikki de Moura.

It’s unknown, however, if her family had reached out to authorities, as of this writing.
“Baka po mababasa to ng kasama ni Catherine Camilon kagabi na ka work niya, hindi lang po namin alam kung sino, di po matandaan ang pangalan, pasabi naman po baka alam niyo po kung nasaan siya,” Chin-Chin wrote. “Palagi po sya nag a-update sa amin, ngayon lang po talaga hindi.”
(I hope this post reaches Catherine Camilon’s office mates. I don’t know who they are, I can’t remember their names. Please tell us if you know where she is. She always updates us where she is, except now.)
Meanwhile, the beauty queen’s mother hopes that she’s safe wherever she is, while praying for her daughter’s return.
“Anak nasan ka? Uwi na… magbuhay ka na ng cellphone para makausap ka na namin.. mahal na mahal ka nmin [emojis] Dyos ko tulungan mo po kame makita na o makausap ang aming bunso. Wag nyo po siyang pababayaan… ilayo nyo po sya sa kapahamakan.. Panginoon wala po akong ibang hinihiling para sa kanila kundi ang kaayusan nila… ingatan nyo po siya,” she wrote on Facebook.
(My daughter, where are you? Please come home. Please turn on your phone so we can get in touch with you. We love you so much. Lord, please help us in reaching out to our youngest child again. Please don’t leave her alone. Keep her away from harm. Lord, I have no other request except to see her again. Please take care of her.)
Chin-Chin also shared details of the beauty queen’s car, as she expressed how much she loved her, as seen in separate posts.
Apart from being a beauty queen, Camilon also works as a model and public school teacher in Batangas.
