CEBU CITY, Philippines — Several flights and sea trips to and from Cebu have been cancelled due to bad weather brought by Tropical Depression Kabayan.

On Monday, December 18, at least six flights bound to and from areas in Mindanao covered by the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) were cancelled, airport authorities announced.

Meanwhile, sea voyages in Cebu remain suspended on Monday as the entire island province is still under TCWS No. 1.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Station in Central Cebu on Sunday, December 17, ordered all types of sea vessels to refrain from sailing as a safety precaution.

Kabayan is expected to bring strong winds and moderate to heavy rainfall in areas under Storm Signal No. 1 like Cebu. /clorenciana
