CIB tells My Gold store management to cooperate in robbery case
The City Intelligence Branch (CIB) of the Cebu City Police Office said the management of the My Gold store is not cooperating with them in resolving the robbery that befell them last April 25.
“We have been asking them the inventory of all the jewelry and cash stolen. We are also requesting to them the cellphones of their employees.
“We can’t just give the estimates of the stolen items. We need to extract all the details,” Senior Supt. Romeo Santander, CIB chief, said.

Santander told reporters during an 888 News Forum at the Marco Polo Hotel early Tuesday morning they are comparing the CCTV footage of other stores and the robbery at the Electronic Bingo outlet at City Time Square to see if it had the same suspects.
“We will not give up on this case. We will do our best until cases will be filed against the culprits,” he said.
If the employees and the management will not cooperate then they still have the witnesses that can help them, Santander said. Police are also waiting for the results of the polygraph tests conducted on the employees.
One of the suspects, Michael Florida, had been identified. Florida is facing robbery cases in Mindanao involving huge robbery incidents.
“We are also checking if he has existing same charges in Cebu,” Santander said.
