A four-year-old boy was rescued from his father who was found in the middle of a pot session with friends in Talisay City, Wednesday.
A mother sought the help of police after her husband kept their son away from her. She alleged that her husband is using illegal drugs and didn’t return their child to her on their agreed date. The couple is separated.
Accompanied by police and social workers, the mother went to a makeshift house in barangay Dumlog. As she entered the house, she saw her husband, Paul in a pot session with two others.
Paul escaped but two men identfiied as 27-year-old Delmor Mapaz and 24-year-old Jemuel Tarongoy were arrested. Taken from them were drug paraphernalia.
The child played outside the house while his father was using drugs inside the house.
