A 26-year-old foreign technical intern from the Philippines saved a six-year-old Japanese boy, who fell into the sea on June 16.

The boy was not wearing a life jacket and fell into Hakozaki-futou in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City. This is according to a report by Livedoor News.

Palace: Sara Duterte resigns as DepEd secretary

Vice President Sara Duterte has resigned as the Department of Education secretary, said the Palace on Wednesday.

In a statement to reporters, the Palace said that Duterte did not disclose the reason for her resignation.

Justin Timberlake arrested, charged with drunk driving

Pop star Justin Timberlake was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in a chic town east of New York City, and spent the night in jail before being arraigned and released, local officials said Tuesday.

The 43-year-old Timberlake, known for such hits as “SexyBack” and “Cry Me a River,” was taken into custody in Sag Harbor, part of the affluent Hamptons community, in the early hours of Tuesday.
