THE CEBU Province Inter-district Basketball Tournament kicks off this June 20 at the Cordova Sports Complex.
Organized by the Cebu Provincial Sports Commission, the tournament is for players aged 18 to 30 years old from the different districts of Cebu Province.
Former varsity players are allowed to join as long as they are registered voters of the districts they are representing.
The tournament uses a double round-robin elimination and will follow a home-and-away format. After the elimination games, the top two teams will face-off in a best-of-three championship series.
Highlighting the opening day will be the 1st District vs. 6th District match.
1st District is composed of players from Talisay City, Naga City, Carcar City, Minglanilla, San Fernando and Sibonga. The 6th district team is composed of cagers from Mandaue City, Consolacion, and Cordova.
