A SALES agent was shot and injured in a robbery attempt in barangay Poblacion, Toledo City, southwest Cebu.
Clemente Artiaga, sales agent of Virginia Foods, Inc., was wounded in the left arm.
Police said Artiaga, 34, and a co-worker were fixing their delivery van at the side of the road when two men on a motorcycle arrived and declared a hold-up.
Artiaga fought back by trying to grab the gun but one of the assailants shot him, said SPO2 Teofilo Alviso.
The culprits sped off empty handed, police said.
