OMEGA Boxing Gym knock out artist Christian “Mister Pogi” Araneta looks to extend his unbeaten run on Sunday as he faces undefeated Jason Neri in a 10-round joust in Lantapan, Bukidnon.
Araneta who holds an impressive pro record of 8-0 with seven knockouts will face Neri who has stopped five foes in seven pro fights.
The Cebu-based Araneta is the reigning Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) light flyweight champion winning the vacant title stopping Charlie Cabilla in Masbate last March.
Neri meanwhile, won his last two bouts by TKO. He beat Mateo Jasma via first round TKO last 2014 in Zamboanga and stopped Ronnie Sunido in the fourth round in Bukidnon in 2013.
Araneta’s stable mate, Tom Jones Mangubat (2-0, 2KOs) is seeking his third victory in as many pro bouts against Ronald Garcia (2-8) in a six-round undercard bout.
