Donaire to go all out in fight against Juarez

Five-division world champion Nonito “Filipino Flash” Donaire Jr. vowed to give all he has got in his Dec. 11 fight against number one ranked bantamweight Cesar Juarez of Mexico in Puerto Rico.

Donaire said in a report in Philboxing.com that he wants to go all out and show he’s got what it takes to be a winner.  This fight will be Donaire’s third since falling to Nicholas Walters last year.

“It’s great to be able to have this opportunity again and I want to prove myself, mentally and physically in my performance,” Donaire said.

The 32-year old Donaire, who holds a record of 35-3 (win-loss) with 23 knockout wins, has been training in Las Vegas for months after beating Frenchman Anthony Settoul in Macau, China last

July to defend his NABF bantamweight title. He won the NABF title in March this year in Manila against the unheralded William Prado of Brazil.

The December fight might be a world title showdown after the WBO stripped Guillermo Rigondeaux of the WBO super bantamweight title for inactivity. But nothing has  yet to be finalized.

Recently, Donaire extended his contract with Top Rank Boxing Promotions after his announcement to fight Juarez.

If Donaire beats Juarez in the upcoming fight, Top Rank boss Bob Arum is planning a bigger fight for the Filipino pitting him against current featherweight title holder Vasyl Lomachenko (4-1, 2 KOs).

Aside from that, Arum also has a new deal for Donaire involving a rematch against Walters.
