In an effort to lift up its name in the academic realm, the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) has taken matters into its hands as it tops the 10th Philippine Sudoku Super Challenge (PSSC) held last October 17, at SM City Cebu Trade Hall with the presence of the Mathemetics Trainers’ Guild director Dr. Isidro Aguilar and the coordinator Mr. Sotero Cabanes.
With different schools joining the competition, CEC grabbed the 1st place and the rest of the top 10 spots in the Sudoku Wizard category for high school students. A student from University of San Carlos (USC) also joined the top 10. In the Sudoku Whiz Kid category which is intended for elementary pupils, CEC’s victory continued as 17 pupils made it to the top 10. Pupils from Bethany Christian (BCS) School and Philippine Christian Gospel School (PCGS) also joined them in the rank. USC tops the Sudoku Grand Master Category which is intended for tertiary students and professionals.
Everyone was happy as each participant of the competition received a Certificate of Participation. The winners were also recognized and were given certificates of recognition.
