Palawan Pawnshop tennis gears up for busy 2016

TENNIS enthusiasts are in for a treat as the country’s longest running age-group tennis circuit Palawan Pawnshop – Palawan Express Pera Padala (PPS-PEPP) has lined up 52 events including seven open tournaments next year.

Backed by Asia Traders Corp., the Visayas Leg will have 18 age-groupers and three open competitions while the Luzon and Mindanao competitions will feature 13 and 14 junior tournaments and two open events.

“We are honored to be the presentor of this prestigious age-group tennis tournament,” said Asia Traders Corp. vice president John Christopher Tan.

“It has been our long-time commitment to help develop and promote the sport from the grassroots level and after another banner season, we are inspired to put up more tournaments next year, both in junior and open ranks,” said  Palawan Pawnshop CEO and President Bobby Castro.

The 2016 circuit will start on Jan 7-11 in Roxas City while Dumalag Capiz, Tacloban City and Lapu Lapu City will host the next three legs slated on Jan. 14-18, Jan. 21-25 and Jan. 28-Feb. 1, respectively.
