Candidate No. 3 Shaila Mae Robertora and Candidate No. 9 Gabriele Raine Baljak are the early standouts in this year’s Miss Cebu competition as both ladies each received special awards in tonight’s Pre-Pageant Competition.
Robertora was awarded “Ms. Gems & Designs” which gives her the opportunity to shoot an ad campaign for the company as well as “Ms. Ayala Fiesta Island.”
Baljak bagged “Ms. Epson” for ‘exuding the beauty and excellence of a true Cebuana’ and being knowledgeable on its history and culture.
She also won “Best in Funwear” with her black two-piece gown by designer Mike Yapching.
Renowned Cebuano designer Rey Escario won “Best Funwear Designer” of the night, dressing candidate nos. 4-6 in beaded silver gowns.
Make-up artist Gari Son won “Best Make-up Artist”. Son did candidate no. 10, Bea Clarisse Raboy’s make-up for the night.
Miss Cebu 2016 finalists this year are Natasha Caira Rosales, Tracy Maureen Rosales, Shaila Mae Robertora, Darra Nikka Galagos, Felina Joyce Lim, Francheska Marie Mamac, Anna Marie Saldon, Daenielle Anne Llenos, Gabriele Raine Baljak, Bea Clarisse Raboy, and Vida Doriza Reya.
Coronation Night will be on January 13 at the Pacific Grand Ballroom at the Waterfront Hotel.
