PACKS of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P100,000 were seized from a man who was arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn.
Leon Maglasang was in the list of suspected drug pushers operating in the barangay, said Senior Insp. Wayne Magbanua, chief of Pusok Police Station.
Magbanua said that when they confirmed that Maglasang was in the area, they coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for a buy-bust operation.
Police said the suspect was arrested in sitio Saac at around 2 a.m., after the suspect sold shabu worth P200 to a poseur- buyer.
Police said they recovered from the man 47 sachets of suspected shabu, drug-sniffing paraphernalia and P5,100.
