CEBU CITY Taekwondo coach Michael Realista and his jins will once again look to dominate this year’s Central Visayas Regional Athletics (CVIRAA) Meet slated Feb. 7 to 13 in the City of Naga, Cebu.
The University of Cebu sparring wizard Realista is expecting to repeat their amazing performance in last year’s CVIRAA meet in Balamban, wherein most of his Webmasters won for the Niños’ team.
The Niños finished champions in taekwondo in last year’s edition of the Palarong Pambansa regional qualifier, finishing with a total of 23 medals.
Cebu City raked in 10 golds, 4 silvers, and 6 bronzes in the high school division while their elementary jins harvested 5 golds and 3 silvers and 3 bronzes.
Winners in the CVIRAA meet will represent the region in the annual Palarong Pambansa set this summer.
The province of Albay is tabbed to host the national gathering of school-based athletes.
