ABOUT P2 million worth of shabu were confiscated by San Fernando police in a buy bust operation in barangay Bugho at 3 am Thursday.

Police arrested Castro Barrameda, a native of Dumanjug town, southern Cebu along with six men who were having a pot session at the time of the arrest.

Chief Insp. Richard Gadingan of the San Fernando police said they received a tip from residents on Barrameda’s alleged drug dealings.

He said their monitoring showed that Barrameda’s home is being used as a drug den.

Police also recovered two .38 revolvers, one .22 revolver, one hand grenade and a KG-9 machine gun.

The confiscated shabu were packed into small and big sachets.

The identities of the six men who are undergoing interrogation are still unavailable as of this time.

Gadingan said they are coordinating with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for the turnover of the shabu.
