Cebuano MMA fighters to fight in Indonesia

TWO CEBUANO Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters will face foreign foes in the upcoming “One Championships: Tribe of Warriors” this Saturday in Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Trestle Tan will take on Mexican Djatmiko Waluyo in the welterweight division in the undercard to be spearheaded by a double-header main event featuring Japanese Kotetsu “No Face” Boku against Vincent Latoel of Netherlands and Brazil’s Luis Santos vs Rafael Silva  of Portugal.

Tan will try to bounce back from two straight losses to Pedro Paulino and Jeff Huang in his debut of One Championships last year. He faces  Waluyo, who is undefeated after five fights.

Tan holds a record of three wins and five losses.

Another Cebuano MMA fighter Jimmy “Silencer” Yabo will return inside the cage coming off from two straight losses this Saturday.

Yabo who holds a record of four wins with two losses will be facing Bashir Amad of Pakistan./REPORTER GLENDALE G. ROSAL
