CEBUANO duathlete Joland Olmilla won’t be suiting up in today’s 11th San Francisco Camotes Cross-Country Mountain Bike Challenge after suffering a bruised right hand last Thursday.

The 23-year old Olmilla of Cabancalan, Mandaue told CDN that he injured his right hand during a bike accident three days ago.

Sakit jud kaayo. Ang mga bato naa pa jud sa sulod sa unod,” said Olmilla who made the National Duathlon Team last year.

However, he assures that his injury won’t stop him from competing in the second leg of the Pilipinas Duathlon next month in General Trias, Cavite.

Olmilla who finished 10th in the opening leg last February is doubtful on making it to the top three in  Cavite  which he described as star-studded.
