Cops nab 2 persons, seize shabu worth P150K

Several packs of suspected shabu worth at least P150,000 were confiscated in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cebu City yesterday.

According to a report from the Pardo Police, policemen from the Pardo police station arrested Carmen Cabaluna, 52, in Sitio Bara Paradise, and confiscated several packs of suspected shabu, whom police estimated to be worth at least P150,000.

The early morning raid was based on a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Wilfredo Navarro.

He was detained at the Pardo Police Station pending the filing of charges.

At 4 p.m. that day, in Barangay Calamba, members of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF) arrested Rodmark Sabiona, 19, of Barangay Calamba during a buy-bust operation, according to a report from CAIDSOTF.

Police confiscated 36 sachets of suspected shabu from the suspect.

He was detained at the Cebu City Police Office detention cell pending the filing of charges.
