Castro, five others get court respite

The court deferred arraignment of Cebu City Asst. Prosecutor Mary Ann Castro and five companions after they expressed their intent to file a motion to quash the charges against them.

Castro and five others were supposed to be arraigned today on charges of direct assault and malicious mischief in relation to their altercation with police.

Judge Francisco Seville of Municipal Trial Courts in Cities Branch 7 (MTCC7) gave the respondents five days to file their pleading.
