After losing Game 1 by 38 points, the Dallas Mavericks bounced back and defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 85-84, in a wild Game 2 to even their Western first round playoff series at 1-1 in Oklahoma.

Raymond Felton had a team-high 21 points and 11 rebounds in the winning effort.

Down 81-85 with 14 seconds left, the Thunder got a break when superstar Kevin Durant hit a three with the time down to nine seconds.

Felton was fouled in the next play but missed two freethrows, giving OKC a crack at winning.

With no timeouts and seven seconds left, Durant ran the entire stretch of the floor and attempted a layup but missed. Russel Westbrook got the offensive rebound but also missed. A third offensive rebound by Adams went in but the shot didn’t  make it on time.

Durant finished with 21 points while Westbrook chipped in 19 although both shot a miserable 15-55 from the field combined.
