More than P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by police in a raid on a drug den in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City on Saturday afternoon.
Operatives of the Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group Central Visayas (RAIDSOTG) arrested 48-year-old Roger Balmori, a suspected level one drug pusher operating in the barangay who can dispose of 50 grams of illegal drugs per week.
A police pseudo buyer bought P500 worth of shabu from Balmori. At least 10 medium packs of suspected illegal drugs were seized from Balmori’s house in Purok 4, Lower Kamputhaw, Cebu City at past 4pm on Saturday.
A 26-year-old cohort identified as Kharleen Mariñas, 26, was also arrested by police after she was found with a pack of shabu in her possession.
The two suspects are detained at the Cebu City Police Station 2 pending the filing of charges against them.
