THE Supreme Court (SC) yesterday has allowed former president and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to undergo dental procedures at a clinic in Makati.

In its resolution, the high court said Arroyo is allowed to undergo dental procedures on the four days to be fixed by appointment with her personal dentist Dr. Ranny F. Reyes.

The high court said they should be notified of the date of the procedure.

The high court said Arroyo “shall be allowed to travel from the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) in Quezon City under proper escort not later than 11:00 in the morning of each of the four days of her dental appointment and that she shall be returned to the VMMC immediately upon completion of the procedures on each of the four days.”

Arroyo was also allowed to vote in her hometown in Lubao, Pampanga. The SC said Arroyo will leave VMMC at 8 a.m. of May 9 “to enable her to cast her vote in her polling precinct in Lubao, Pampanga and to return to the VMMC immediately thereafter.”
