At least 1,000 fire victims from barangay Guizo received their financial assistance from Mandaue City government today.
Each household will receive P10,000 for homeowners, for those renting, they were given P5,000.
Last March 12, 2,222 families were displaced by fire in barangays Guizo and Mantuyong.
Some residents who recieved their cash assistance will use the money for building their house again in the fire site.
