Homegrown restaurant Golden Cowrie expands to Luzon

Final Golden Cowrie

ACCOMMODATING, warm and friendly – these are qualities that are often used to describe Cebuanos. This May, Cebuano hospitality will be further experienced across the borders as Hukad sa Golden Cowrie opens its first branch in Luzon located at Level 1, TriNoma in Quezon City.

The new branch is a representation of Cebuano charm as it stays true to Golden Cowrie’s welcoming ambiance and hospitality. Its signature scrumptious crispy pata, succulent baked scallops and tasty Bicol express are sure to tickle one’s palate, as will exciting new flavors such as the seafood pancit habhab and camaron rebosado.

“What we offer is something close to the heart of the Filipinos. Our passion for introducing and redefining familiar favorites while making our guests feel at home is what makes the experience distinctly Golden Cowrie,” he added.

Golden Cowrie started from an idea of integrating southern hospitality and authentic Filipino dishes in a homey atmosphere. Over the decades, the homegrown restaurant that started as a small eatery in the countryside in 1982 has established itself as an institution for Filipino cuisine in Cebu.
