P138K shabu seized from Duljo Fatima pusher
ABOUT P138,600 worth of shabu were seized from a barangay Duljo Fatima resident who rented an apartment in Sitio Cruzan, Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City Friday evening.
John Mar Jaymen Abelgas alias “Opao” was arrested by Talisay City police in a buy bust operation inside his apartment.
PO2 Stephen Sefuesa of the Talisay City police precinct someone reported to their office about Abelgas’s illegal transactions. Abelgas reportedly used to deal drugs in Duljo Fatima, a noted hotspot for illegal drug activities in Cebu City.
Last Friday, Talisay police operatives led by SPO3 Vincente Taladua conducted a buy bust operation inside Abelgas’s apartment.
At least six medium packs of shabu was recovered from Abelgas’s possession including the P2,000 marked money. Another 57 medium packs of shabu were taken Abelgas’s room.
Supt. Aileen Recla, Talisay City police chief, said based on their surveillance Abelgas just started renting the place last June. Senior Insp. Regino Maramag of Police Station 11 in Cebu City confirmed that Abelgas is from Barangay Duljo Fatima.
He said while he is not in their watchlist, he has been hearing about his reputation as a drug pusher. Charges for selling and possession of illegal drugs will be filed against Abelgas on Monday.
