DORMAKABA remained undefeated as it logged its third straight dominant victory, bashing Eastgrand, 65-36, in the A + E Basketball Corporate Cup 2018, last Saturday at the USC gym.
After a tepid 19-12 start, Dormakaba turned on the jets in the second and outscored Eastgrand, 25-10, to go up 44-22.
Dormakaba continued the onslaught, raising the lead to 31 before the game was halted because of a melee involving players from both teams.
Ed Macasling led Dormakaba with 17 points while four others scored between eight and seven points in a balanced attack.
Fenestram kept in step as it also nabbed its third straight win, beating Island Paints, 70-63.
Neil Bacus led Fenestram with 21 points while Marcu Miole added 11.
Dormakaba and Fenestram will be facing each other tomorrow for the solo lead in the standings.
In other games, defending champions Sea Olympus downed Phoenix, 71-56, and Davies Paints prevailed over Rain or Shine, 65-50.
