Fire hits residential area in Barangay Suba

CEBU CITY–Houses made of light materials were destroyed in a fire that hit a residential area in Barangay Suba, Cebu City on Monday morning.

No one was hurt during the fire, said Cebu City Fire Marshal Rogelio Bongabong.

Investigators had yet to determine the damage as well as the number of houses that were burned down.

Bongabong said they received the fire alarm at 11:20 a.m. It was placed under control at noon.
