Cebu’s female bar topnotcher gets car, recognition

Cebu’s bar topnotcher said she still couldn’t believe the results of the bar exams released today by the Supreme Court.

“I just did what I could para dili ko makonsensiya, whether makapasar ko or dili,” said Michelle Liao in an interview with reporters, Thursday afternoon.

Liao is the school’s first female topnotcher of the University of Cebu. She will bring home a brand new car, a reward of the university for their students who  place in the top 10.

Liao stopped working and focused on her law school studies.  The 31-year-old new lawyer said there are a lot of things to juggle, emotional, spiritual and financial issues when she took the bar exam and that she just did her best in the exam. Liao is their class valedictorian.
