MANDAUE City Hall awarded two employees of its Department of General Services (DGS) for returning a Cobra IronMan athlete’s wallet Monday morning.

A cash reward was given to Linda Hayodini, 43 and Editha Buaron, 60 both street sweepers of barangay Looc Mandaue City who were assigned at the road along Mandaue Sports Complex.

Hayodini said they saw a wallet which contained P1,800 and important cards while sweeping the road along the complex.

When they saw a contact number inside the wallet they immediately called the number and later found out that it was the father of the owner Cerro Robin.

Buaron said they waited for the owner and returned the wallet. They did not know that the owner posted their pictures in Facebook and also submitted it to the Public Information Office official Facebook page.
