Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza
FANS of “Eat Bulaga’s” Kalyeserye darlings Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza will be missing the pair for a few days this week on noontime television as the pair is set to fly all the way to North Africa for a fashion shoot.
The announcement came during their thanksgiving performance on “Eat Bulaga” last Saturday, for the success of their first solo movie together, “Imagine You and Me.”
Alden and Maine thanked their fans through a production number, after which Lola Nidora (portrayed by Wally Bayola) announced the
departure of the love team in a “kingdom somewhere in Africa” for a
photoshoot.
Although Lola Nidora did not elaborate, AlDub fans have long speculated that the two are off to Morocco, based on the teaser video posted by Mega Magazine early last month.
In a series of Instagram stories posted yesterday, the Mega team revealed that they are bringing 6 pieces of luggage containing clothes for Alden and Maine.
Maine’s glam team was also revealed: Juan Sarte for makeup and Celeste Tuviera for her hair. Also in the IG stories are photographer Mark Nicdao, director Michael Carandang and the magazine’s editorial team.
On Twitter, Mega Magazine posted: “Team #MEGANationWithAldub is en route to Casa Blanca but will make a quick stop in Abu Dhabi. See you in 10 hours!”
The magazine later teased some more:
“We want to let you in on something before we take off. We will shoot Alden and Maine in two cities. Exciting days ahead.” (AMT)
