A woodcraft furniture display center was burned down by fire at sitio Mananga 1, barangay Tabunok in Talisay City at past midnight Sunday.
Chief Insp. Randy Mendaros, fire marshal of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Talisay Station, said the products inside the Gala Wood Furniture store owned by Junior Pedro Galang fed the fire and they had to ask other fire stations for aid.
No one was hurt and the fire was put out at 6 am. Damages were pegged at P300,000. Mendaros said they are determining the cause of fire.
