NEARLY 100 firearms issued by the Mandaue City government to its barangay officials and tanods were turned over to the Mandaue City Police Office since Monday.

A directive issued by Chief Supt. Noli Taliño, Police Regional Office chief, called on the local governments to deposit the firearms to the nearest police headquarters after their permits were not renewed since 2014.
