KAPAMILYA stars Arci Muñoz and Jericho Rosales will be teaming up for the first time to topbill the TV series entitled “Magpahanggang Wakas.”

In this drama series that was formerly titled “Never Ever Say Goodbye,” Arci will play the role as Aryann while Jericho is cast as Waldo.

In a previous interview with Jericho, he shared that the series will be a remake of a classic epic love story.

It is a modern TV adaptation of the 1980 film “Kastilyong Buhangin,” starring Nora Aunor and Lito Lapid and was helmed by the late director Maria O’Hara.

Jericho and Arci went to Caramoan to shoot scenes for this new Kapamilya show last May.

Arci told PEP during the premiere night of her recent film “Camp Sawi” that the shooting of the new teleserye has been “bloody.”

“Madugo since medyo yung storya niya, heavy drama, madugo yung taping namin. We shoot three times a week. Pinapaganda kasi namin kaya mabusisi din pagdidirek ni Direk FM,” shared Arci.

According to the 27-year-old actress, she feels the pressure of headlining the series, especially since her costars are veteran actors like John Estrada and Gelli de Belen.

“Mahusay naman ang mga kasama ko, lahat, sila Kuya John, si Ate Gelli, kaya nape-pressure ako na paghusayan pa. Nakakahiya na magte-take two dahil sa akin. Nagpapasalamat ako kasi napakatiyaga nila sa akin,” she explained.

But more than anything, she is happy that her leading man is Jericho.

“Isa sa pinakamagaling na artista na kilala ko, kaya wala akong masasabi. It’s a privilege,” said Arci.

The teleserye will also feature Liza Lorena, Danita Paner, Lito Pimentel, Maika Rivera and Marco Gumabao.

Led by unit head Ruel Santos Bayani, RSB also produced the shows “Tubig at Langis,” “Ipaglaban Mo,” and “Pasion De Amor,” Arci’s first TV series on ABS-CBN.

Rita Avila also returns as a Kapamilya, after her controversial exit in the 2012 and her first time to work in a teleserye with real-life husband, director FM.

Indie actor Jomari Angeles, who is part of the 2016 Cannes Film Fest entry “Ma’ Rosa,” will also makes his debut in doing a full-length drama series.
