Hidilyn Diaz in Cebu today

THE country’s lone medalist in the recently concluded Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Hidilyn Diaz, will be in Cebu today to spearhead a sports seminar on Sunday.

Diaz, silver medalist in women’s weightlifting in the quadrennial event, will be one of the speakers for the Process of Building Olympians at the City Sports Club Cebu. She will be joined by another Olympian, Charlie Suarez, who also competed in boxing in Rio Olympics.

Diaz will first visit the University of Cebu (UC) weightlifting gym today and then the Epic Performance and Fitness headquarters at the Oakridge Business Center along A.S Fortuna in Mandaue City to meet with organizer Pio Solon, who was one of the strength and conditioning coaches of the Philippine Team for the Olympics.

Aside from Diaz and Suarez, also present will be another strength and conditioning coach, Jay Futalan.
