THIRTY employees were found positive during the drug testing conducted at the Cebu City Hall and some barangays.

Four of those who tested positive for drug use were barangay employees, while 26 were from the different departments and offices of the city hall.

According to Cebu City Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (COSAP) Chief Alice Utlang, City Mayor Tomas Osmeña and City Administrator Bimbo Fernandez also submitted themselves for the drug testing conducted last Thursday afternoon.

From January to September 21, a total of 228 employees of Barangays Labangon, Apas, Mambaling and Mabolo and 982 employees of City Hall submitted themselves for the monthly drug testings. None of them were found positive.

Dr. Utlang thanked the employees and councilors for their cooperation.

“All city councilors submitted for the testing. Perfect attendance,” Utlang said.
