THE SOUTHWESTERN University (SWU)-Phinma Baby Cobras grabbed their third win in a row after coming from behind to defeat the University of San Carlos (USC), 39-35, in the Passerelle division of the Milo-backed SBP-Passerelle Tournament held last weekend at the Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

After starting the season with two straight losses, the Baby Cobras have come alive and won three straight with this latest win solidifying their stead as the tournament dark horses.

Jaime Aznar put the Baby Cobras on his back in the fourth, where he scored 10 points to rally SWU to the win.

The Baby Warriors remain winless in five games so far.

USC had a great shot at scoring its first win of the season as they led, 19-9, at halftime before SWU sizzled in the second half.

Meanwhile, the defending champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu won its fifth straight match with a 48-23 clobbering of Don Bosco.

Mark Dumandan had 10 while Maynard Uy added eight in the win by Ateneo de Cebu, which put it in a tie with the University of the Visayas at the top with a 5-0 (win-loss) card.
