A FILIPINA beauty has won another international title.
Christine Joy Picardal won the Miss Diamond of the World title at the pageant held at the Sofitel Hotel in Algeria last Thursday.
She bested 29 other representatives from countries around Romania, Russia and Germany and became the second winner of the first international pageant in Algeria which started in 2015.
“It is not really the crown that infatuates me now, it is warmth and the love I’ve been receiving from my co-candidates,” shared Christine Joy in a Facebook post.
The Filipina beauty queen has her fair background in the pageant world after joining several local pageants in the past. She also made appearances in several ABS-CBN shows, like the superhero series “Super D” and the weekend episode of “Wansapanataym.”
Last September, 23-year-old Jeslyn Santos bagged the crown of Miss United Continents 2016 held at the Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
She became the first Asian to bring home the crown outshining 27 other candidates.
