CEBU City police confirmed that the man killed by motorcycle riding assailants during a drinking spree at JM Basa Street in Barangay San Nicolas, Cebu City at 9 pm Monday was one of two suspected gunmen that killed the ex-wife of suspected drug dealer Kerwin Espinosa, Annalou Llaguno — the woman linked to two drug personalities in the Visayas.

Doria said Lendio went into hiding after Llaguno’s death and they believe he was killed by two other suspects to silence him.

“He (Lendio) was one of our suspects in the Llaguno murder case,” he said. “We believe he was killed by the two other suspects to silence him. They knew Lendio was already identified by witnesses and if he wil be arrested, he might squeal on them,” he added.
