A 33-year old anti-crime volunteer died on the spot after he was shot by two unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants inside a jeepney terminal in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The fatality, identified as Roldan Fuentes, lived at the back of the terminal in Barangay Pajo and was a member of the “Allied Force” anti-crime group organized by Basak Barangay Chairman Isabelito Darnayla, according to PO2 Joseph Rouel Cutanda, homicide investigator of the Lapu-Lapu City police.

The victim’s brother admitted that Roldan used to be a drug user but quit the habit, he said.

Cutanda said Fuentes sustained gunshot wounds in the head, nape and arms.

Police also found spent shells from a .45 pistol at the crime scene.
