Issuance of five-year driver’s license starts tomorrow

Land Transportation Office (LTO) Advisory

Pursuant to Administrative Order No. 2016-34 dated September 13, 2016 on the 5-year validity of driver’s licenses and conductor’s licenses, the implementation date is November 2, 2016 in all offices in Region 7 covering the Provinces of Cebu, Negros Oriental, Siquijor and Bohol. The LTO IT System has been successfully adjusted to the 5-year validity with corresponding fees and charges, as follows:


NEW LICENSE

Application Fee P100.00
IT Fee P 67.63

(after passing the written & practical exam)

License Fee P585.00

RENEWAL (Non-Prof, Prof & Conductor)

License Fee P585.00
IT Fee P67.63

Licenses processed/renewed prior to the implementation date have a three (3) year validity period.

Please be advised to:

1. Visit www.lto.gov.ph to download Medical Certificate and Application of Driver’s License (ADL) forms

– In plain renewal, no need to accomplish ADL except if there is/are changes in classification & correction of personal information such as change civil status, change address, correction spelling of name, etc.

– Medical Certificate can be secured from any licensed physician of the applicant’s choice provided it is in the prescribed form\

2. Negative drug test result can be secured in any DOH accredited drug testing center convenient to the applicant

3. No available cards yet, we are awaiting for the supply from LTO Central Office & will announce publicly as soon as available.

This is FREE and open to all individual as private, public utility vehicle & government drivers. Give us your preference on date (every Saturday) & time (schedule 8-12AM & PM 2-5PM) and your contact number to confirm your schedule. For private entities, transport groups and government entities may request the schedule from Monday to Friday and will provide the venue depending on the number of participants.

A Certificate of Attendance will be given to all participants. Thank you .
