P1.4 million worth of shabu seized in drug bust

CEBU CITY–Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7) arrested an alleged drug peddler and confiscated about P1.4- million worth of shabu in a drug bust in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City past 11 p.m. on Thursday.

Henry Tabalin is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly for selling illegal drugs. The offense is non-bailable.

Recovered from the suspect were 200 grams worth P1.4 million, a digital weighing scale, and a cellphone, said PDEA-7 spokesperson Leia Albiar.
